This week, Vitamin Water & The Fader held their annual #Uncapped series spanning five nights with performances by Matt & Kim, Willow Smith, Jojo and Chance the Rapper, among others.

Beginning on Tuesday, guests were treated to treated to a night of Vitamin Water infused cocktails, free customizable shirts, a photo booth and live performances.  Guests were informed of their entry for the evening via email the day of the performance — talk about spontaneity!  I was lucky enough to win entry on Thursday to see Jojo, achieving a teenage dream of mine.

Once guests arrived at the event, they were met with free bottles of Vitamin Water with copies of The FADER carefully placed around the space.  Flanked to the left and right of the room were large tablets where the first 150 guests designed their free shirts and a step-and-repeat where guests could take photos with larger-than-life hand props.  In the center of the space were two bars serving Vitamin Water infused cocktails.

The two bars emptied out into the an area where a small stage was set up — the set up provided attendees with an intimate view of the stage.

The event kicked off with a DJ set from Austin Millz who was able to get the crowd pumped enough for the main event of the night, Jojo.

After Austin’s set was finished, Jojo took the stage.  She performed some of her new songs as well as her old hits like Leave (Get Out) and Too Little Too Late.  She even performed a cover of Fetty Wap’s song, My Way — Fetty was actually slated to perform that evening, but due to his injuries, he had to cancel his performance.

Overall, Vitamin Water & The FADER hosted an amazing event.  Guests were able try some of Vitamin Water’s beverages as well as get to hear some great music.
